Our goals are to care for those living with epilepsy and to provide much needed funding for research into epilepsy and SUDEP in the hopes that one day a cure can be found.

Care-Alive began hosting the Bay Street Softball League Charity Tournament in 2010 and held it again very successfully in 2011; we’re currently planning this year’s tournament for Saturday, August 11th.

We’ve held three Oscar Gala Fundraisers since our inception in 2009 and enjoyed them all immensely but opted not to hold one in 2012 as we wanted to find a fundraiser that would hold greater appeal to a wider group of our supporters – we’ll let you know what we’ve got planned soon!

We also hosted our first-ever Purple Day brunch on Saturday, March 26th, 2011 as part of our Epilepsy Awareness Campaign and are planning a Purple Day Dinner after watching the CN Tower as it’s lit Purple for Epilepsy at dusk.

Care-Alive is also one of the beneficiaries of the Bay Street Stampede so you can read more about that event as well.
