WHO WE ARE…

Care-Alive represents the friends and family of Caroline Cunningham (APRIL 4, 1975- APRIL 8, 2007). Caroline died as a result of a SUDEP (Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy) six years after being diagnosed with Epilepsy. This Foundation is dedicated to her by her family and her legions of friends in hopes that others may live.

Collectively, we are devastated by the loss of our Sweet Caroline, and are determined to better the lives of epilepsy sufferers and their families, so that hopefully one day, no one will experience such a loss.

Our goals are to care for those living with epilepsy, raise awareness of both epilepsy and SUDEP and provide much needed funding for research into this mysterious disease in the hopes that one day a cure can be found.

Care-Alive is run entirely by volunteers in order to keep administrative and operating costs to a bare minimum; which means, that we are able to direct almost 100% of our fundraising proceeds to the causes we support.

Care-Alive is a registered charitable foundation and issues tax receipts for all donations of $20 or more. Our charitable registration number is 80940 6952 RR0001.
